Welcome to Panama City Bassmasters website and we hope you will hang around long enough to learn about who and why we are. As the name declares, we are in Panama City, Florida where it never rains; we just get “liquid sunshine”. The local weather does normally provide for excellent bass fishing conditions year round of which we take advantage of with monthly tournaments.

We hold a regular scheduled monthly meeting and a catch and release fishing tournament 12 months out of the year. Our tournaments are held on Saturday following the first Monday of each month. At the conclusion of each tournament, points are assigned for each angler's catch weighing the most to the least. Even if an angler gets "skunked", they receive 50 points for fishing in the tournament. At the end of the year, the club member receiving the most points earns a plaque and the bragging rights to the club's "Bassmaster of the Year." At an annual awards banquet, we honor the club's "Bassmaster", "Sportsman" and "Lunker" of the year.

We are a group of men that enjoy fishing, trading fishing ideas and techniques, looking forward to the challenge of a tournament, the promotion of bass fishing as a sport and the conservation of the sport and all of its surroundings.
